What is health counseling and how is it different than a diet or therapy?
Health Counseling is a unique, exciting innovation in health and nutrition. As a Health Counselor, I have studied all the major dietary theories and will help you discover what approach works best for you at this point in your life.
While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.
No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

Like most of us, you have probably tried a variety of diets, and may even have managed to do well on some for a few weeks or even months. However, the emphasis such diets place on willpower, deprivation and denial is both unnecessary and counter-productive. This program will NOT deprive you of your favorite foods. It will teach you how to listen to your body and deconstruct your cravings, so you can make choices that truly nourish you.

If you are motivated and excited, I can help you get out of your own way, part the clouds of self-sabotage, and make the process simple and easy. This is not an ordinary program or diet, we will not be counting calories or grams of fat, rather it is about building your intuition about what works best for your unique body so you can engage in the experience of being fully ALIVE.
How can I guarantee to get the most of the program and reach my goals?
Obviously, much of your success depends on you. There is no quick fix. The best way to ensure results is to be honest about what is working and what is not, to follow the recommendations and to show up to all your sessions on time.
